Project Title:
City of Jeffersonville Welch Road Project - Phase II

Project Description:
The City of Jeffersonville Water System has a directly serviceable population of approximately 4,640, or 2,021 households, with serviced connections in both Menifee and Montgomery County. The City of Jeffersonville proposed project will replace 4,000 LF of problematic of 3” PVC waterline on Welch Road with 6" PVC Waterline. The proposed project will also extend 4000 LF of 6” PVC waterline on Camargo-Levee Road, and 5,280 LF of 6” PVC on Fox Road to unserved areas. In addition, approximately 2,000 LF of 6” waterline will be constructed on Camargo-Levee Road to add an emergency only interconnection with Montgomery County Water District #1 and Levee Road Water Association. The Welch Road is located South West of Jeffersonville traveling west on US 460 branching off of HWY 213. The replacement on Welch improve water quality for approximately 75 currently underserved households. The water extensions on Camargo-Levee Road and Fox Rd will provide water to approximately 25 unserved households. Both aforementioned extensions are located south east of the City of Camargo. The Camargo-Levee Road extension will be and extension of a currently existing waterline that runs to the fork of Camargo-Levee Rd and Fox Road. The Fox Road waterline extension will continue until the meeting of Levee Road Water Line Extension project WX21173170, which is prior to Agee Lane Spur.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
Completion of the project will improve water quality and service to approximately 75 currently underserved households in the Welch Road Area, replacing aging infrastructure and increase water capacity by increasing PVC line size. The completion of the waterline extension portion of this project on Camargo-Levee Road and Fox Road will provide potable clean drinking water to approximately 25 households that are currently unserved.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
