Project Title:
Rowena Marina Water System Extension

Project Description:
The proposed water system improvements will take place along KY Hwy 558 in the NE portion of Clinton County. The project entails the construction of roughly 19,500 LF of new 6 inch PVC water main to serve the proposed Rowena Marina facility to be located at the termination of KY 558 at Lake Cumberland. Approximately 12,500 LF of the new line will replace an existing aging and undersized 3 inch water line. The remaining 7,000 LF will be installed in previously unserved territory. In addition, a new master meter vault and pressure-reducing station will be installed as part of the project. The proposed project will improve service for approximately 40 existing customers and provide a potable water supply to the marina.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
