Project Title:
MWD - Scott Fork Phase 1

Project Description:
Providing a potable water supply to the proposed scott fork industrial Park will require approximately 7,500 LF of 10" waterline, a 1000 GPM booster pump station, and a 500,000 gallon water storage tank. Telemetry will also be added to allow remote monitoring and control of the industrial Park water utilities.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
Providing basic utility access such as water and wastewater is vital to the success of the proposed industrial Park for this site. It has the potential to create many new jobs.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. On the local scale, green infrastructure consists of site and neighborhood-specific practices, such as:

Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
