Project Title:
MCWD #3 - SCADA System Upgrades and Repairs to Maintenance Building

Project Description:
This project will update the aging SCADA system with a new system to be installed on pump stations, tanks, flow meters, master meters, and do repairs to maintenance building. Any remaining Cleaner Water funds will be used to purchase new flow meters.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
The existing SCADA system is 14 years old and therefore hard to find replacement parts for equipment. This project will install new hardware and software.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
