Project Title:
Fountain Run Water District #1 - New Radio Read Metering System & Billing System

Project Description:
The radio read metering system will allow the maintenance personnel to read all meters in approximately 1/2 - 1 day. This is a task that currently may take 2 men 2 - 3 days. This will be a huge savings in man hours and makes this task more efficient by taking the human error out of the meter reading/recording process. The billing system is required because the current contractor doing billing (S. Central Bell) has given notice they intend to stop the contract.

Improve management, reduce man hours, more accuracy by reducing human error, reduce costs in billing.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
