Project Title:
Lebanon Water Co. Woodlawn Ave. & Loretto Rd. Replacement

Project Description:
Residual Fund Request - KIA - 12/18/2015 The proposed project is expanding the original scope of work to include the following: The Lebanon Water Works is requesting use of remaining funds to replace existing water lines along four streets that are adjacent to the water line on Loretto Road that is being replaced in the original scope of the project. The streets are: JFK Lane, Malan Drive, Christie Drive, and Lee Avenue. The lines are old and susceptible to breaks and leaks. Approximately 1,600 linear feet of 6 inch PVC water line would be installed. The original scope, as stated below, was the replacement of old leaking water lines along Woodlawn Avenue and Loretto Road. These four residential streets are adjacent to Loretto Road and the proposed lines would provide a loop back to Loretto Road that doesn't exist now. (SAI - KY201503260259) The proposed project will replace approximately 6,000 l.f. of 6-inch water main along Woodlawn Ave. and approximately 1,700 l.f. of 6-in. water main along Hwy 49 (Loretto Rd. adjacent to local Hospital), to improve service and reliability and reduce costly repairs from aging cast iron pipe that is prone to breaks and leaks that reduce service and have high repair costs. (Loretto Rd. project previously separate project WX21155041).

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
The proposed project will provide improved service and reliability for a main serving over 200 existing customers. The existing line is old and very prone to costly breaks and leaks, reducing capacity of the overall system.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
