Project Title:
Troutman Hills Road Water Line Extension

Project Description:
This project is part of the water districts overall plan to improve pressure and flows to the Eastern portion of their service area. to do this, the water districts is proposing to construct a booster station and install approx. 2500 LF of 6" PVC water main. This line will eliminate a dead end line and serve the Troutman Hills areas from another direction. The booster station will allow the City of Livermore to purchase water from Calhoun through the water district. Additionally, the project will build approximately 3500 LF of 3 inch water line on Hatfield-Stevens Road.

This project will improve pressure through upsizing the water line in the area as well as build a booster pump

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
