Project Title:
Schochoh Water Tank Painting & Rehab

Project Description:
This proposed project offers a solution for re-painting and performing any necessary repairs to the Association's elevated water storage tank in the Schochoh community. The 200,000 gallon tank was constructed in 2006, and it has an overall height of 153’. The total cost of the proposed project is estimated to be $200,000.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
Presently, the Association’s biggest problems or needs are in four parts: 1) re-painting and rehabilitation of their 16 year old elevated tank in the Schochoh community; 2) cutting water losses in the distribution system; 3) filling out the distribution system with short, small-diameter waterline extensions & upgrades to fulfill a lengthy list of service requests; and 4) replacing primary transmission lines and installing difficult interconnections to alleviate growing pains on some of the original piping infrastructure.
