Project Title:
Water System Upgrade - Lead Service Line & Water Main Remediation

Project Description:
WX21141068 and WX21141069 are being combined at the request of KIA. Both projects will be merged into WX21141068. This project (WX21141068) consists of critical water system improvements that will address long-standing infrastructure deficiencies in the service area. The scope includes the replacement of around 4,850 linear feet (LF) of problematic waterlines with new 6-inch PVC water main. The project will specifically rehabilitate undersized and deteriorated lines to enhance overall system reliability and water quality. Key components of the project include: -Replacement of an estimate 123 Lead Service Line (LSL) to fully eliminate infrastructure with legacy lead -content and address public health requirements. -Installation of 8 new or replaced hydrants across the project area. -Installation of 14 new gate valves, providing reliable isolation and flow control throughout the upgraded line. -Full replacement uses 6-inch PVC pipe for both linear features, totaling 4,850 linear feet: 3,000 LF replacing problematic lines and 1,850 LF replacing undersized lines.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
