Project Title:
West Laurel Water Association - Hwy 552 Project

Project Description:
Installation of approximately 13,000 Feet of 6-inch PVC waterline alongside Hwy 552 and Topton Road. Installation of approximately 2,100 LF of 6" PVC waterline along Rooks Branch Road. Alternate 1 will consist of the installation of approximately 3,300 LF of 6-inch PVC waterline along Topton Road. If funds remain at the end of this project, they will be used to purchase new water meters.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
