Project Title:
Water Supply Well and Treatment Plant Refurbishing

Project Description:
Phase I which consisted of raw water line along Baileys Creek and development of well on north side of Evarts was completed. . Phase 1 was funded under grant 79C-2005 in the amount of $50,000 and the grant was closed on 8/7/2010. Phase II consist of development of an additional well (to be connected by an existing water raw water line),to assure raw water supply availability and improvements to the WTP. Improvements at the WTP will consist of work on the flocculators and the high service pumps.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
