Project Title:
New Front Street Water Line Replace & Loop Project

Project Description:
This project replaces approximately 800 linear feet of 2-inch, cast iron water lines that have been in place nearly 50 years. The current line sits on a dead-end line making it difficult to flush properly. The old line will be replaced with 3-inch, PVC line and will be tied in and create a loop in order to eliminate the need for flushing while increasing water quality and pressure to 10 customers.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
