Project Title:
Worthington: Clean out Wells to Increase Output

Project Description:
The original project scope has been amended since the city has sense rehabilitated well three. The new scope includes the cleanout of wells one and two and the replacement of both pumps. This will increase the flow available from these wells and decrease the pump time needed to sustain adequate water pressure. The outcome will save on electricity, provide backups in case of water issues in the current main well, and decrease stress on the system as a whole.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
Project will increase the flow from the wells and lower the operating costs at the well pumps as well as providing both redundancy and reliability of production.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
