Project Title:
Dexter-Almo Heights Water District- Boggess Drive Loop

Project Description:
Citizens living in an unserved area of the Dexter-Almo water district are seeking service. The in order to serve the needs of the community the water district is proposing to create a loop from US641 to Candlelite Drive following Boggess Drive. This project will serve 10 new customers while improving service to 45 customers. Currently the water district has a quarter mile of asbestos cement line that will need to be replaced during this project.

This project will allow for 45 households to receive water service.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
