Project Title:
South Main Street Water Line Replacement

Project Description:
This project consists of approximately 1,700 feet of 12-inch PVC water line, 5,100 feet of 8-inch water line, 85 meter reconnects, 5,000 feet of sidewalk replacement, 15 hydrants and appurtenances. This will replace an existing dilapidated water line. Plans and Specs have not been submitted at this time (2/15/2017)

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
Replacement of aging infrastructure. The City of Lawrenceburg is constantly repairing leaks in this area. This is a major trunk line and breaks disrupt the entire distribution system.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
