Project Title:
Maysville Rd Booster Station Replacement

Project Description:
This project will replace an existing below ground booster station that serves two of the southernmost pressure zones within Allen County Water District's distribution system. The existing booster station operates at approximately 260 gpm. The existing Maysville Road BS requires a confined space entry each time the station is accessed. The station is showing signs of corrosion and is a potential electrical hazard. The new Maysville Road station will be constructed in an above ground building, allowing for a safe access during normal maintenance and a reduced health risk to ACWD employees. The new station will also have an increased flow rate to allow for a more efficient filling cycle of the Mt. Carmel and Amos Tanks.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
Currently, the Maysville Road BS is a health risk to employees performing operation and maintenance activities. The station also has become a bottleneck for the southern portion of the ACWD's distribution system.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
