Project Title:
Lincoln County Fiscal Court - Rowland Sanitary Sewer Extension

Project Description:
Extend 8" sanitary sewer along old US 78 in the vicinity of Rowland to provide first time sanitary sewer service to approximately 13 residences. Project design and construction will be handled by the Lincoln County Fiscal Court. The Court will utilize their staff engineer and road department labor and equipment to complete the project. Oversight will be provided by the Stanford Water Office. Upon completion, ownership will be transferred to the Stanford Water Office.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
First time source of sanitary sewer to approximately 13 residential customers. Project lies withing the watershed for the Dix River. The Completed Project will help preserve the water quality of the Watershed.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. On the local scale, green infrastructure consists of site and neighborhood-specific practices, such as:

Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
