Project Title:
Carlisle County Sanitation District #1 - Cunningham Force Main and WWTP Upgrades

Project Description:
This will be a portion of the planned phase II of the regional sanitary sewer in Carlisle County. This project will include a force main from the City of Bardwell to the community of Cunningham. Also the WWTP will need various improvements to handle the additional flow from Cunningham.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
This project will provide the needed sanitary sewer system for the Cunningham. This will eliminate the use of septic systems that are ineffective and pose a risk to the environment and to the health of the citizens of Carlisle County.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
