Project Title:
City of Wickliffe- Lagoon Levee Repair

Project Description:
The levees around the two lagoons at the City of Wickliffe are deteriorating and are in need of repair to prevent further erosion. The total distance around the two lagoon cells is about 1300 LF. and the project would consist of the dirt work to repair the erosion and rip rap to prevent further erosion and building up the levees to prevent flooding. In 2009 flood waters got above the level of the lagoons levees.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
This project will prevent further damage to the levees around the lagoons and possible overflows. Also this project will prevent flood waters from reaching the level of the lagoons.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
