GIS DATASETS The datasets accessible from this page are base layers utilized by the WRIS, the Area Development Districts, as well as other State and Local Agencies. All files are ARC/INFO Export Files (*.e00) and must be imported with the appropriate utility prior to utilization. This data is provided as a service to the ADDs, as well as their cities and counties, and other interested parites. As more of data becomes available for web dissemination, it will be posted on this site. NOTE:
There are four different map projections offered of each
dataset: UTM, Decimal Degrees (DD); KY State Plane North US Feet (SPN);
& KY State Plane South US Feet (SPS). The default projection is UTM
Zone 16 NAD 27 Meters and is usually not
denoted in the file name. However, DD is denoted with: "_dd";
SPN is denoted with: "_spn"; and SPS with: "_sps". Kentucky
