Project Title:
Cadiz Water Treatment Plant Project

Project Description:
Project involves the construction of a new 1.5 MGD water treatment plant that includes raw water facilities, sedimentation basins, membrane filtration, clearwell, high service pumping facilities, chemical storage and feed equipment. In addition to the treatment facilities, a new ADA compliant operations and laboratory building will be constructed. Location of this plant will be -87.749760 x 36.877244.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
The existing plant has reached the end of useful life and is difficult to expand and modify to meet future needs and regulations. A new plant closer to new raw water source is a more cost effective option.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
