Project Title:
McRoberts Waterline Replacement Project (Lead Status Unknown)

Project Description:
This project will include the installation of 4,775 LF of 8” PVC, 11,025 LF of 6” PVC, 10,600 LF of 4” PVC and 4,100 LF of 3” PVC waterlines, 20 gate valves and boxes ranging in size from 3” to 8”, 19 flushing hydrants, 355 5/8" x 3/4" tandem setter tubs, 355 sensus meters with radio read, 17,750 LF of 3/4” PE service line, 3 air relief valves, 2,700 of the 8” directional drills, 3 creek crossing leak detection assembly, 220 LF of HWY X-ing Bore and Jack 12.75" STL casing w. carrier pipe, 1 master meter & Vault, 1 duplex pump station and 10 waterline markers. Due to the age of lines the possibility of lead is present. Therefore, if lead is found it will be replaced.

Need For Project: Briefly describe how this project promotes public health or achieves and/or maintains compliance with the Clean Water Act or Safe Drinking Water Act:
Replacement of aged and leaking waterlines will ensure customers maintain the best quality service afforded to them by the City. It will also reduce O&M costs to the City.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:
