Project Title:
Perryville Wastewater Treatment Plant Ugrades Phase II

Project Description:
This project consists of a number of upgrades to the Perryville wastewater treatment plant. In combination with phase I, this project will increase the capacity of the facility from 0.10 MGD to 0.27 MGD. System would consider a planning and design loan for this project. 1. City will be completing Facility Plan this year. 2. A list of individual component upgrades will be reviewd and provided. 3. The project is not addressing an enforcement action. 4. Project will address energy efficiency with replacements. The Perryville WWTP is now just slated for the equipment upgrades and does not need to be expanded at this time, so it will not need a Facility Plan Update. It is subject to a Corrective Action Plan for violations. The improvements will address the CAP, including new mechanical screening, influent flow metering, effluent valving and sampler, post-aeration improvements, disinfection contact basin improvements, and demo of tertiary filters.

Green Infrastructure:

Green stormwater infrastructure includes a wide array of practices at multiple scales that manage wet weather and that maintains and restores natural hydrology by infiltrating, evapotranspiring and harvesting and using stormwater. On a regional scale, green infrastructure is the preservation and restoration of natural landscape features, such as forests, floodplains, and wetlands, coupled with policies such as infill and redevelopment that reduce overall imperviousness in a watershed. On the local scale, green infrastructure consists of site and neighborhood-specific practices, such as:

Water Efficiency:

The use of improved technologies and practices to deliver equal or better services with less water. Water efficiency encompasses conservation and reuse efforts, as well as water loss reduction and prevention, to protect water resources for the future. Examples include:

Energy efficiency is the use of improved technologies and practices to reduce the energy consumption of water projects, use energy in a more efficient way, and/or produce/utilize renewable energy. Examples include:
